Panasian group starts the celebration of its Golden Jubilee year by conducting a tree plantation drive.
Panasian group initiated the series of celebrations by planting 50 trees in its Islamabad facility on 8 th
April 2019, 50 trees in Fateh Park Karachi on 11 th April 2019 and 50 trees in Race Course Park Lahore in
collaboration with PHA on 16 th April 2019. This activity is the first one in the series of employee
engagement activities planned for the celebration of 50 years’ milestone.
Founded in 1969, the Panasian group has evolved over the past five decades as one of the most well-
positioned and respected corporate groups of Pakistan. The group have successfully completed this long
journey while working with globally leading brands like Volvo, UD Trucks, Hilti, Ericsson, Sandvik and
Bombardier.
The tree plantation drive organized was to contribute towards the Green Pakistan Drive and move
towards a more sustainable environment. The senior and junior staff members along with the Group
Chairman Mr. Moaz Mohiuddin, Group Vice- Chairman Mr. Konoz Mohiuddin and Group CEO Mr. Zibber
Mohiuddin planted 150 trees in Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad. Accepting the growing environmental
concerns and the recent climatic changes around the globe, the tree plantation drive marks continued
commitment of Panasian group towards ecological development.
On the occasion Mr Konoz Mohiuddin, Group Vice- Chairman Panasian group emphasized on the
importance of forests and trees in our society. He emphasized that trees are a natural regulators of
temperature and climatic changes caused by various industrial practices and the organizations should
take an active role in driving the Green Pakistan Initiative.
